Teaching is a central part of my academic mission. I have taught a wide range of computer science and AI courses at Hunter College, Iona University, and the Graduate Center. My teaching emphasizes hands-on projects, ethical reflection, and inclusive pedagogy, helping students connect theory to practice and preparing them to engage responsibly with AI and robotics
I am also active in teaching innovation across CUNY, speaking at faculty seminars and conferences on topics such as:
- Designing identity-focused computer science curricula
- Bridging research and teaching in the senior capstone
- Facilitating teamwork and inclusive classroom environments
My goal is to mentor students not only as computer scientists but also as thoughtful contributors to society, equipped to shape responsible technologies.
